Our "Noise Detective" and "Decibel Meter" tools require access to your device's microphone.

• No Recording Storage: We do not store, save, or listen to your audio recordings on our servers.
• Real-Time Processing: Audio data captured by the Noise Detective is streamed directly to the Google Gemini API for real-time classification. It is processed transiently and then discarded.
• Decibel Meter: Audio data used for the Decibel Meter is processed entirely within your web browser and is never transmitted to any server.

To provide features like the "Noise Log" without requiring an account, we store certain data locally on your device using browser localStorage.

• Noise Log Data: The incidents you document in the Noise Log are saved only in your specific browser. We do not have access to this data.
• Preferences: We save settings like your preferred color theme and your consent preferences.
